There are a couple of ways to get to Dubai for cheap. How cheap?
You could always jump on an Air Asia flight to Kochi via KL and then jump on an Air India flight for the rest of your way to Dubai. You’d be departing at sunrise on a Friday morning and landing in the sandy city at sunset Saturday evening. So over a return flight this will take you *counts on fingers* at least a bajillion hours. Not exactly a quick flight but for $896, it ain’t too bad. Right?
Well, no. Especially when Emirates fly direct for an extra hundred bucks or so!
Traditionally Emirates fly direct to Dubai from Perth for between $1,600 and $2,000 but right now they’ve got a wee bit of a sale going. You can fly in Emirates comfort for just over a grand! Featuring gourmet food and wine, up to 1,500 channels of inflight entertainment, and a generous 30kg luggage allowance, you’ll be able to bring home even more of Dubai. Including that snow globe for me, right?
So, have you been to Dubai before? Where did you stay? What did you buy? Why didn’t you get me a snow globe? Comments below!
