These Pay Our Bills[dfads params='groups=-1&limit=2']
My favourite carrier Air Asia has decided to start flying to the Maldives and they’re selling off bargain basement super cheap flights to celebrate this fact!
Between now and Friday you can book one way flights from Kuala Lumpur to Malé starting at $140 each way. Their promo actually says a higher price, but I’ve managed to find a handful of flights at the cheaper rate. I’ve had a poke around and managed to find flights from Melbourne to Male return Malé for around $750, which is pretty snazzy given that the average price is usually around $1,400.
These flights come with a meal and 20kg baggage allowance, which is a rarity with low cost carriers these days. You gotta travel from 28 Sep 2013 – 29 Mar 2014 and naturally there are terms and conditions so head on over to their website to have a poke around.
For those wondering about how to get to KL, prices are quite low at the moment if you fly with Tigerair and/or Air Asia during the same period. To give you an example of prices, Perth to KL return starts at $255. Melbourne/Syd to KL starts at $420. Heck, you could even do India to Malé via KL for half the price, although I’d probably not recommend that. Cos’ of geography and whatnot.
On top of the cheap flights, the Maldives has cheap accommodation – check out this page for more information.
Do what are you waiting for? Head on over to Air Asia and get yourself a luxurious Maldives holiday at Bali prices.
