These Pay Our Bills
Right now our pals at Air Asia are giving away 20,000 free seats to existing members of their BIG loyalty program.
Naturally, they can’t advertise these as free flights as you’ll still have to pay airport tax and other annoying fees that airlines can’t wrangle themselves around (which is the reason why it is near impossible to fly return to Bali from Australia for less than $103) but is IS possible to get your butt on a plane for less money than a cup of coffee. Not enough BIG Points? You can use “BIG Points + Cash” Slider if you have a minimum of 500 BIG Points.
A list of the starting BIG point price can be found here. Although from experience, I’d recommend you check the dates and locations that interest you as there have been times when flights are lower than their advertised price.
To grab your seats, head on over to the redemption site at redemption.airasiabig.com and cross your fingers that your seat is on sale!
If you aren’t a member of BIG, just join up now and hold on to your membership details for their next sale. Air Asia has a habit of throwing up these sales every so often to fill up planes so you will be guaranteed to get a repeat sale within the next 12 months.
To sign up, head on over to this link and if you’re lucky, you might score yourself 500 BIG points for just being you. To some this may not sound a lot but if you’re crafty, I’ve found some of their non-sale flights for as little as 10 points plus tax.
